We are a multi-species, generational NFT project that aims to help protect the world’s most at-risk wildlife.
Endangered Species will shine a spotlight onto a number of different species one-at-a-time, with a dedicated NFT collection for each and a portion of proceeds donated to related charities.
The first Endangered Species NFT collection, based around the Giant Panda, is currently set to begin minting in mid-December.
Our team is hard at work creating both the artwork and the technology to make this project a success. To learn more, lend your support, or just come hang out with a cool crew of people trying to make a difference, please join us on Discord at discord.gg/f6eW9fkvqp. Make sure to check out our social media outlets too.
The goal of The Endangered Species Project is to bring attention to the plight of planet Earth’s most at-risk wildlife in an entertaining, informative way.
By marrying together the fun, collectable nature of NFTs with the expansive power of blockchain ownership, we hope to leverage our genuine passion for this space to shed light on the serious nature of disappearing, vulnerable animal populations.
Our first collection features a wide array of traits and visual styles to make for a unique collection of art, but that’s not all.
To highlight the dwindling numbers of these beautiful creatures in the wild, future NFT art collections from the Endangered Species Project will go up in mint price. By being an early adopter for the Endangered Species Project you also have the opportunity to mint future pieces in the collection at the same opening price as our Giant Panda collection.
The Giant Panda series will be available at a mint price of .0888 ETH. Our minting will be limited to 1,888 total pieces, representing the number of giant pandas still alive and fighting against extinction; of this total, 88 Giant Pandas will be held back by the project for giveaways, raffles, fundraises and the like, while 800 will be offered first to our “OG” community members (see details below on how to gain access!)
We at the Endangered Species Project believe in transparency. Here’s a look at the planned timeline for our first release, the Giant Panda collection.
Again, this first collection signifies just the beginning of our attempts to help spread the word about endangered species across the globe. Stay tuned here, or become an active part of our growing community, to keep up-to-date on the latest news regarding our project and future plans.
If for some reason you don’t get the answers you are looking for. Please reach out to us in our community discord and we will be happy to help answer any questions.
“OG”s were either the first 100 members of our community to join the Endangered Species Project Discord server, or otherwise went through the process of making our “Preservation List” of members. OG status is no longer automatically available but you can still gain access by being active in the Discord server’s #general chat.
Still an early adopter, “Late OG”s will be granted access to mint any pandas that have gone unminted. Late OG members will still have private access and can avoid public minting. Late OG status will stop accepting new members in mid-to-late November.
If you have invited 15 or more new members to the project Discord server, you will be granted MVP status.
If you were an early member to our Discord server you had access to the channel related to this raffle. We have kept track of members and will be raffling off pandas on mint night.
You will have three weeks from Nov. 12th, 2021 to provide an ETH address through a smart form we will provide. Do NOT give your ETH address to anyone else! Clear instructions will be incoming – Until then, you will not be asked for your ETH address by an official project member
